In this digital and electronic age, there is so much valuable information available in different formats for students.  Professors need the tools to deliver information that comes from: DVDs; VCR tapes; Computer programs; PowerPoint slides; the Internet; visuals or three dimensional objects that can be placed under a Document Camera; Digital Camera images; footage from Camcorders etc, . . . . .  During a lecture, this visual and auditory information needs to be projected onto a large screen so that it is easily seen and heard by all students in the classroom.  To accomplish this, Higher Education organizations need a variety of multimedia equipment, which is easy to use.  Nomad Technologies has excelled at meeting this need by designing a line of Multimedia Podiums, Presentation Stations, and Recording & Video Conferencing Stations.  Nomad Systems were designed to cost effectively allow a large variety of presentation equipment and functions to be available to classrooms & conference rooms through mobile or permanent audiovisual installations. Nomad’s Presentation Systems are being used by Higher Education organizations for a variety of applications:

  • In Medical Schools, the mobility of many Nomad models allows the projection and recording of surgical procedures or training from small rooms or difficult to-get-at or see locations.  Students or personnel can see enlarged image of procedure on a large screen, in a way they couldn’t in a small crowded room.
