Control Systems: Choice of
push-button control system or electronic touch screen control
system, which controls all equipment integrated
into ADA Podium. These control systems also allow the
presenter to raise or lower the podium and tilt the monitor.
The Electronic Touch-Screen Control System
dramatically improves ease of use. The Crestron Control
system has been "programmed"
to work with all of the specific audiovisual equipment Nomad
Technologies has chosen to standardize with and integrate
into the ADA Podium. This allows there to be one controller
that controls all of the basic and advance functions of
all integrated equipment. This facilitates reliable
performance and allows Nomad Technologies to support the
Advance Control System and all of the equipment it controls
on a Nation-wide basis. A 6" LCD touch panel is
provided for simple, one-button operation. All systems are
controlled through simple graphic buttons and easy to follow
screens. Help screens are provided to teach you about every
button. The ADA Podium control system also allows the addition
of other powerful options like annotation and video distribution
to other monitors.

WOLF VISION VZ-8 LIGHT2 DOCUMENT CAMERA:
A digital document camera is secured
to the ADA Podium. Document cameras are used to present
a wide variety of support materials in hard copy form or
three-dimensional objects. Support materials may include
documents, transparencies, maps, text books, and so on.
It may be used with three-dimensional objects such as machine
parts, medical models or circuit boards.
The Wolf Vision VZ-8 Light Document Camera has
24 x zoom (12 x optical + 2 x digital) . A large optical zoom range is one of the most important features of a Visualizer. It is absolutely necessary that objects in every size can be picked up in full resolution. WolfVision's optical 12 times zoom offers the possibility to pick up objects as large as an open book (370 x 276mm / 14.6" x 10.9") and as small as a stamp (33 x 25mm / 1.3" x 1") in full size to fill the screen. For enlarging even smaller objects down to 17 x 13mm (0.7" x 0.5") the Visualizers also offer a 2x digital zoom. This allows for enlarging objects like a very small coin. Also known as a visual presenter,
the SDP-950-DX performs well on wide angle and excels at
close-ups of two and three-dimensional objects. The document
camera has a small light box for slides, x-rays and so on
and an upper light for lighting opaque objects in rooms
with low-light conditions.
