PD Multimedia Podium Series
Advantages of Permanent or Mobile Podium Design: The mobility of the PD Multimedia Podium gives you the flexibility to share this system between rooms. The presentation system easily transforms any room into a place where every type of multimedia presentation can be delivered for meetings, training, classrooms, video conferencing or web casting sessions. In its mobile form, the PD has large, heavy-duty wheels and a retractable handle, making it easy to move, turn and maneuver from room to room, floor to floor, or building to building. In its permanent form the PD Multimedia Podium can be permanently installed into any room.
The Turnkey PD Podium integrates all the multimedia equipment that you would find in a high-tech conference room, training room, auditorium, classroom or conference hall. The large variety of audio visual components allow the presenter to present anything in its native form such as: 3D objects; photos; paper documents; overhead slides; video footage on DVDs, VCR tapes or camcorders; images from digital cameras; and presentation material on computer, USB flash drives, iPad®, Tablet PCs, iPod®, iPhone®, mobile phones or Blackberry®.
The PD system typically connects to an LCD projector mounted in a ceiling with one Cat5/6 cable. It can also connect to large format screens or monitors (LED, LCD or Plasma).
