This electronic Touch-Screen Control System dramatically improves ease of use. The Crestron Control system has been “programmed” to work with all of the specific audiovisual equipment Nomad Technologies has chosen to standardize with and integrate into the PS3000 Presentation Station. This allows there to be one controller that controls all of the basic and advance functions of all integrated equipment. This also facilitates reliable performance and allows Nomad Technologies to support the Advance Control System and all of the equipment it controls on a Nation-wide basis. A 6" LCD touch panel is provided for simple, one-button operation. All systems are controlled through simple graphic buttons and easy to follow screens. Help screens are provided to teach you about every button. The PS3000 control system also allows the addition of other powerful options like annotation and video distribution to other monitors.

• Large heavy-duty wheels to easily navigate over rough terrain, down hallways and over elevator thresholds.
• For really rough terrain, Nomad provides a "Softride" option that provides improved suspension and protects the valuable electronic components from excessive vibrations.

• Waterproof nylon cover protects against moisture, dust, scratches and vandalism.
• Power cord reel. A 10' power cord reel is provided for easy access to outlets. A little tug and it will retract automatically.
• Additional outlets are provided to support a guest notebook computer or other attached peripherals.
• Input ports for network, modem and TV/Satellite input are standard and located on the rear access door. Additional ports for microphone, video out and other specific options are available. When cables are plugged into these ports and the door is closed, the cables are automatically directed low to the ground for safety/liability reasons and less clutter.
• The wiring harness and most connections are secured and hidden from view to reduce the risk of tampering. Permanent wiring dramatically reduces support for users plugging things in incorrectly.

HITACHI PROJECTOR:

This XGA LCD Projector is permanently and securely mounted to the top of the PS3000 Presentation Station. The Hitachi Projector has enough brightness for large conference rooms and offers a light output of 3000 ANSI lumens.

The purpose of the LCD Projector is to project images seen from the Desktop computer, DVD Player, VCR, Internet, Laptop Computer or Document Camera onto a large screen area.

NOTEBOOK COMPUTER HOOK-UP:

Pre-wired cables integrated into the Nomad Presentation Station allow a notebook computer to interact with the presentation unit. The presenter can place their notebook computer on the left flip up work surface and connect it to the pre-wired cables.

REMOTE WIRELESS KEYBOARD:

The compact, remote keyboard is provided and allows the user to fully control the computer a significant distance from the presentation station. The wireless keyboard is controlled by radio frequency and can be used up to a 100 feet from the receiver. Radio frequency allows use without direct line of sight between the receiver and the transmitting keyboard. It is ideal for use on a lectern or other remote area.

REMOTE WIRELESS MOUSE:

A two-button, scroll RF remote mouse is provided that can also be used up to 100' from the Nomad. This allows the user to easily move forward and backwards through a PowerPoint Presentation. The unique internal gyroscope turns subtle hand movement into cursor movement for "in-air" cursor control OR the mouse can be used on a surface like a standard mouse.

POWERFUL AUDIO AMPLIFER:

The Amplifier provides up to 75 watts per channel and with the Bose speakers can accommodate a room of up to 250 people.

BOSE SPEAKER SYSTEM:

A Bose speaker system is integrated into the Nomad unit. The Bose sound system includes a hidden base module (subwoofer) and two cube speakers that combine to provide a rich, clear sound.

17" FLAT PANEL MONITOR & ADJUSTABLE ARM:

A 17" flat panel monitor is combined with an adjustable arm to allow the presenter to maintain proper eye contact and body posture with the audience. At the same time, the monitor can be kept in a low position, thus maintaining full visibility of the audience to the projected image.

SAMSUNG  VCR & DVD COMBO PLAYER:

Combination VCR & DVD Player features complete versatility to play DVD, VCDs, audio CDs, MP3 discs or VHS Tapes (4 head). The combo player saves space and allows a variety of support materials to be presented.

POWER CONDITIONING:

For the computer related peripherals, a low-impedance, isolation transformer based power conditioning device accommodating a 2 Amp load and four outlets is integrated into the Nomad unit. The PowerVAR Power Conditioner protects the computer and its peripherals from Common Mode and Normal Node electrical noise that can disrupt the computer or cause serious damage to the components. A standard surge protector is provided for the less sensitive electronic components.

SAMSUNG SDP-850 DOCUMENT CAMERA:

A Document Camera with a small foot-print is secured to the PS3000 Presentation Station. Document cameras are used to present a wide variety of support materials. Support materials may include documents, transparencies, maps, text books, and so on. It may be used with three-dimensional objects such as machine parts, medical models or circuit boards. The Samsung SDP-850 Document Camera has 14x Optical Zoom, 3x Seamless Digital Zoom, and XGA Resolution (1024 x 768).
