MEDIA RECORDER OVERVIEW
A Rich Media Recorder is used for recording
presenters as they talk as well as their accompanying presentation
materials/visuals. Smart boards, document cameras, Power Point
slides, digital photography and graphics tablets can all be
part of the presentation. Presenters can show any type of
document or three-dimensional object at any point in a presentation. This device also
works well for recording training sessions, meetings, or guest
speakers that may be presenting at a conference.
Recorded presentations can be viewed anytime via the internet
or burned to a CD/DVD for distribution. The recorded session is typically put online for viewing live or on-demand through any web browser. Recording is simple! One button starts the process
and the system does all the work.
Recorded presentations can also be distributed as podcasts for convenient playback on handheld devices like the popular iPod. As the demand for podcasting communication grows, the recorded presentations are as easily downloadable as popular music or digital movies, enabling immediate access to recorded meetings, on-demand training and expert speeches. Podcasting broadens the accessibility of recorded presentations, allowing people to listen and learn from any location.

The Rich Media Recorder models also work with special Server
Software, which makes your content available for
on-demand access over the web or for live broadcasting.
The Server Software also has automated content cataloging,
indexing and search capabilities. The software is so automated
and easy to use, that a person with low computer skills
can use the wizards within this software to take their recorded
presentation and place it on the web in minutes. Pre-production
and post-production work is virtually eliminated.
Organizations who purchase Rich Media Recorders also own
all the content recorded. No licensing fees
ever have to be paid to use the recorder or to record content. |
