WARRANTY INFORMATION

The Nomad Presentation Station comes with a 90 day On Site Warranty.

The 90-day warranty includes on-site parts and labor for normal repairs, excluding damage caused by accidents, misuse, lightning, fire, other acts of God, etc. The 90-day warranty also includes phone support during Nomad Technologies’ normal business hours. By extending the warranty period through one of these programs, you can continue to receive phone support and have any repair services executed per the particular warranty option selected.

Nomad Technologies has two Extended Warranty Plans in place, which may help you to stretch your support dollars and conveniently deal with equipment problems as they crop up.


FIRST YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY PLANS & RATES

1. Standard Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-ST1)

Under the Standard Extended Warranty, Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI) is responsible for providing personnel, support and parts as necessary to affect normal repairs on-site for the Nomad Presentation Station units. This warranty includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered and prices may vary based on geography

This plan is available for a nine-month time span immediately after your initial 90-Day On Site Warranty expires. The combination of your 90 Day On Site Warranty and 9 month Extended Warranty will protect you with 12 months of uninterrupted On Site Warranty coverage.

2. Retainer Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-RE1)

Under the Retainer Extended Warranty, the customer is responsible for providing technically capable personnel to affect normal repairs on-site for Nomad Presentation Station units as directed by Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI). NTI is on retainer to provide phone support, repair and warranty information, and parts as necessary. This warranty also includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered.

This plan is available for a nine-month time span immediately after your initial 90-Day On Site Warranty expires. The combination of your 90 Day On Site Warranty and 9 month Extended Warranty will ensure you always have technical support during the critical times you need it.

SECOND OR THIRD YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY PLANS & RATES

1. Standard Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-ST2)

Under the Standard Extended Warranty, Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI) is responsible for providing personnel, support and parts as necessary to affect normal repairs on-site for the Nomad Presentation Station units. This warranty includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered and prices may vary based on geography

This plan is available for a 12-month time span immediately after your first year contract expires.

2. Retainer Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-RE2)

Under the Retainer Extended Warranty, the customer is responsible for providing technically capable personnel to affect normal repairs on-site for Nomad Presentation Station units as directed by Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI). NTI is on retainer to provide phone support, repair and warranty information, and parts as necessary. This warranty also includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered.

This plan is available for a 12-month time span immediately after your first year or second year contract expires.

FOURTH & FIFTH YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY PLANS & RATES

1. Standard Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-ST3)

Under the Standard Extended Warranty, Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI) is responsible for providing personnel, support and parts as necessary to affect normal repairs on-site for the Nomad Presentation Station units. This warranty includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered and prices may vary based on geography

This plan is available for a 12-month time span immediately after your third year contract expires.

2. Retainer Extended Warranty (Nomad Stock # WARRANTY-RE3)

Under the Retainer Extended Warranty, the customer is responsible for providing technically capable personnel to affect normal repairs on-site for Nomad Presentation Station units as directed by Nomad Technologies, Inc. (NTI). NTI is on retainer to provide phone support, repair and warranty information, and parts as necessary. This warranty also includes operational phone support during normal business hours of NTI. Extended warranty programs are billable and collected in advance for the period covered.

This plan is available for a 12-month time span immediately after your third year contract expires.

NON-WARRANTY SERVICE

If you choose not to extend the warranty through one of these programs, please be aware of the following. Some of the equipment integrated into the Nomad unit still has 1-3 year manufacturer/depot warranties. When the Nomad 90-day warranty expires however, if any of your equipment fails, you will be responsible for disconnecting it from your Nomad unit, sending it to a Warranty Dealership and reintegrating it back into your system. Phone support will be available, but on a “per call” chargeable basis.

PER CALL RATES

For “Per Call” Service, the hourly rate for services is $150 plus parts and/or expenses for on-site service (minimum of 1 hour). Phone support is available for the same rate but is billed in 15-minute increments ($37.50 per 15 minute increments).

VOIDING THE WARRANTY THROUGH UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR OR TAMPERING

Any repairs done without coordination with Nomad Technologies, Inc. will void the initial warranty and/or any warranty purchased by the customer. Purchased warranty programs are not refundable. If unauthorized work is performed, Nomad reserves the right to charge for equipment recertification prior to reinstituting warranties or service agreements of any kind. Cost of recertification is $150/hour plus travel expenses.

Justification: Future warranty troubleshooting and repair time can be dramatically increased due to unauthorized service work or any work that is not coordinated with Nomad Technologies, Inc. Nomad’s ability to properly maintain updated repair records can have a profound impact on the cost-effectiveness of repair support services.
